How to Feel Confident Inside and Out

Let’s talk about confidence! We all want it. But it’s not always easy to channel it. But, we’re here to help you feel confident both inside and out. It is so important to highlight this subject as it is our passion to celebrate you. We recognize how beautiful, intelligent, strong, and resilient you are, and we want to make certain that you see your own wonderful qualities within yourself. Our team speaks with honesty when we state how gorgeous and radiant you are. We see the confidence illuminating from yourself each time you leave our spa. Confidence is not something that is entitled but rather, it is something that is practiced. We all experience confidence or other instances in which we may have feelings of doubt or insecurity. Confidence is about remaining true to who you are and reminding yourself daily of your worth and value to the world.

So how do you do that? Here is our best advice in practicing self-confidence.

One of the spectacular things about finding self-confidence is that each of our journeys will be unique as we are independently astounding. It is your exceptional qualities and interests that make you SO special! Our Allure team collaborated and decided on four very important exercises that nurture your self-confidence: healthy body, healthy mind, healthy environment, and healthy progression.

You may, of course, focus on a few subjects you feel are most important, but we have seen the power of incorporating all four practices into your daily life.

A healthy body is loving your body. Ways to do this may be eating wholesome, nourishing foods, enjoying a walk outdoors at one of the many beautiful trails local to Flagstaff (wearing sunscreen of course!), or even spending a few minutes in meditation making note of where you are, how much progress you’ve made, and what you can do to continue caring for yourself. Sometimes the easiest way to take care of ourselves when it is difficult, is to imagine our younger self and display the love that child deserves. You are SO precious and worthy of love.

Signs of a healthy mind can be that you feel optimistic. You do not always blame yourself, you set goals, you feel good about yourself, and you have good self esteem. Each of these are huge steps towards loving your mind and achieving self-confidence. Simple ways you may attain mindfulness include doing what you love and stimulating your brain. Maybe that is reading, journaling, or listening to music. Choosing to invest time in what makes you happy and feel motivated afterwards is investing in yourself.

With all of these practices, it is most important to take a moment to evaluate your surroundings. Question yourself, whether where you are is hurtful or overbearingly stressful. Do you need to remove yourself from a current situation, and in place, practice a self-loving exercise? Cultivating a healthy environment will be the very foundation of your self-confidence journey. Truthfully ask yourself whether your daily routines or even your own negative thoughts are preventative towards your happiness and confidence.

Lastly, remember to show yourself kindness and patience. Give yourself time and love, and above all know that you are actively making progress in strengthening your self-confidence.
