What do I need to know before getting a facial?
How long does it take to see noticeable results and my acne cleared?
Avoid using strong chemical/physical exfoliants 2-3 days before your session including retinol, glycolic or salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide and other ingredients commonly used in skincare that could possibly trigger inflammation. Please come in with a bare clean face and a list of products you currently use at home along with any medications you currently use. We also ask that you notify your esthetician if you are currently breastfeeding or pregnant so we can make sure to avoid certain products.
For the skin to improve, it usually does get worse before it gets better. With new products and treatments, we are triggering the skin to expel all toxins and bacteria. Sometimes, our clients experience a purge in the first 90 days however, we often see many begin to clear as soon as the first appointment. We take images each appointment to accurately track progression and improvements.
How do I maintain results after my facial?
How long does a facial treatment take?
To keep the results of your post-facial skin, it is our #1 recommendation to invest into a quality skincare routine. Our estheticians will make suggestions based on your VISIA skin analysis and skincare goals to establish the perfect routine for you! Consistency is key, and we promise to only suggest what you need! Secondly, make your follow up appointment 4-6 weeks later to stay on track.
Treatment length depends on which facial you choose, but we have a Glow & Go facial that only takes about 45 minutes if you’re short on time, to more relaxing and in-depth facials that take up to 80 minutes.
